High Risk Work Licences

Newcastle Assessing & Training services offer a variety of Nationally Recognised High Risk Work Licences that are able to be delivered onsite and tailored to be flexible to your workplace requirements. We offer onsite high risk training throughout New South Wales in Newcastle, The Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Mid North Coast regions. All courses are Work Cover certified and are Nationally recognised. To enrol in High Risk Training Students must meet the following requirements:

-Be over 18 years of age.

-Be able to provide 100 Points of ID.

-Be sufficient in Reading, Writing and Basic Numeracy. 

After successful completion of a High Risk Work Licence students will be provided with a ‘Statement of Attainment’ giving them 60 days to apply for a High Risk Work Licence, once issued this licence will need to be renewed once every 5 years. We also can provide logbook training for your workplace, contact us for more information regarding logbooks.

TLILIC0003 (Licence to operate a forklift truck)  -This course covers all requirements for the Unit Of Competence to obtain a National High Risk Work Licence (LF). 

This course is for learners requiring licencing to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) and involves the operation of a telescoping device, hinged device, or articulated device or any combination of these used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work.

Bridge and Gantry Training Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast NSW

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate bridge cranes and gantry cranes safely.

To enrol in Bridge & Gantry Training it has now become a pre-requisite for learners to certified with the High Risk Licence – (CPCCLDG3001A- Licence to Perform Dogging.)

This training course teaches students the skills required to perform slinging techniques, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear and/or the directing of the crane operator in the movement of the load when the load is out of view of the crane/ operator for licencing purposes.
